Community is about finding people to share life with. It opens space to laugh, learn, ask questions, show up, and grow together. Our communities are spaces to build real relationships around shared interests, shared experiences, and the different seasons of life we find ourselves in. Some are smaller, more intimate gatherings that come together around a common interest or need. Others are ongoing spaces for building deeper relationships and growing together over time.
Whatever brings you here, we hope you find a place where you can connect, belong, and be known.

Pop-Up Communities

These communities are our smaller, more intimate gatherings that are operated by a member of the church and supported by the staff and leadership teams. Some are ongoing, some are temporary, but all of them share great times and meaningful connections!

Level Up! @RCC

Level Up is Reading City Church's new gaming community for ages 12 and up! We believe great games create great opportunities for connection. If you aren’t a gamer and want to see what it’s like for yourself, we encourage you to stop by downstairs in the RCC Kids Theatre after service on Sundays every two months, after you grab some lunch! Join us for retro gaming nights, Mario Party and Mario Kart madness, chill couch co-op sessions, and shared adventures where everyone gets a chance to play. Come as you are, bring a friend, and be part of the fun. 

Bookish

Love to read, or just looking for a space to connect with others? Bookish is a participant-driven reading community where we all explore books, short stories, essays, and other readings that inspire and challenge us.
Together each month, we choose what to read, share our thoughts, and enjoy meaningful conversation as we build friendships and grow together. 

Philia

Philia is a space to slow down, connect, and build meaningful friendships. Each month, from October to May,  we gather around food, conversation, and fellowship, with opportunities to get creative, enjoy outings together, celebrate the holidays, and simply spend time getting to know one another. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, deepen existing friendships, or just have a place to gather and belong, Philia is a space for you.

Neurodivergent Nest

Neurodivergent Nest is a safe and welcoming space for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children to connect, share, and support one another. Parenting can come with unique challenges, unexpected joys, and plenty of moments when you just need someone who understands.
This pop-up community is a place to talk honestly about the struggles and the growth, celebrate the little victories, share what we’ve learned, and remind one another that we don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
