"But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord"
Joshua 24:15
Children and teens bring new life, energy, and perspective to the church. They are not just the future of our church, they are an important part of our church community here and now.
RCC Families exists to support children, teens, and their families as they grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, discover their gifts, and find their place within the church community. Through age-appropriate programs, trusted relationships, and opportunities to learn, serve, ask questions, and have fun, we create spaces where young people can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith wherever they are on their journey. Our goal is to walk alongside families as they grow together, celebrating each step toward deeper faith, stronger community, and a life shaped by Jesus.

Annual Events
Easter Sunday
We celebrate Easter together as a church family with joyful worship, child and family participation, and baptisms as we welcome new steps of faith into our community.
Mother's Day
Each year, we celebrate and honor the mothers and mother-figures in our community with special moments and fun activities designed for families to enjoy together.
Halloween
We love being part of our wider community during Halloween! Our Welcome Room opens to the public during West Reading’s trick-or-treating, featuring a fun themed experience for families. We also partner with Atonement Lutheran Church for their community trick-or-treating event.
Baby Dedications
We believe every child is already blessed and loved by God from the moment they are born. Baby Dedications are a special opportunity to celebrate these children and welcome them into our church family.
Father's Day
Father’s Day is a chance to celebrate and appreciate the fathers and father-figures in our community. We enjoy time together as families, including activities like trivia and special ways to honor dads.
Christmas
Christmas is a joyful season of celebration for our RCC Families! Throughout the season, children participate in a special performance, and families can enjoy activities like gingerbread house making, Cookies with Santa, and more.
